Description
The Oglethorpe County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the FY 2025 LMIG and FY 2025 LRA projects, which involve traffic control, deep patching, OGI leveling, resurfacing, and other road improvements on two county roads. The project requires the contractor to complete the work within 9 months from the Notice to Proceed Date. The contractor must submit a bid bond with their bid and provide a performance bond and payment bond for 100% of the contract price prior to the award of the contract.
• The project includes traffic control, deep patching, OGI leveling, 9.5 mm resurfacing, and other improvements on Buddy Faust Road and Wolfskin Road.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable state laws, municipal ordinances, and rules and regulations of authorities having jurisdiction over the construction of the project.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance prior to execution of the contract documents.
• The contractor must maintain limits of liability insurance, automobile liability insurance, worker's compensation insurance, and umbrella excess liability insurance.
• The contractor must submit monthly pay requests to Oglethorpe County and Oglethorpe County will review and process pay requests within 30 days from receipt.
