RFQ#2026-009 Engineering Professional Services as Needed Projects

The City of Eagle Pass is seeking qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services on an as-needed basis. The services may include planning, design, construction, maintenance, improvement, and expansion of City facilities and infrastructure. The selected firm will be required to provide a statement of qualifications, which will be evaluated based on factors such as relevant project experience, firm qualifications and technical competence, and public agency experience. The contract will be for an initial term of two years, with the option to extend for up to three additional one-year periods. • The City has periodic and ongoing needs for professional engineering services to support a variety of municipal projects. • Services may be required for individual projects or task assignments as they arise throughout the term of any resulting agreement. • The purpose of this RFQ is to identify and pre-qualify firms with the expertise, capacity, and experience necessary to perform these services in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. • The City reserves the right to select a firm from among those under contract as a result of this RFQ or to solicit additional statements of qualifications when it is determined to be in the best interest of the City.
