Notice of Intent to Sole Source NovaNano SEM 630 Preventative Maintenance Services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) intends to award a sole source contract to FEI Company for the preventative maintenance services of the NovaNano Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) 630. The contract will include one annual preventative maintenance inspection, a preventative maintenance consumable kit, labor and travel charges for additional service visits, coverage for replacement parts, remote and onsite service support, and software updates. • The contractor shall provide one annual preventative maintenance inspection with all labor and travel costs included • The contractor shall provide a preventative maintenance consumable kit • The contractor shall include labor and travel charges for any additional corrective or emergency service visits • The contractor shall cover all replacement parts required for repairs using new or rebuilt OEM parts • The contractor shall provide remote and onsite service support within 48 hours of notification during reasonable business hours • The contractor shall include software coverage and updates that improve functionality and capabilities
