December Snow Damage Backstop Replacements

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish and dispose of the existing, damaged backstops at Dimond Park Field #1 and Savikko Park Field #4, and replace them with new Patterson Williams 19'-6" x 44' Hooded Backstops with Three Planks. The contractor will also be responsible for excavating, backfilling, and restoring the ballfield topping to its original condition. Additional work may include demolishing and disposing of the existing backstop at Mendenhall River Elementary Baseball field and installing a new backstop. The project requires the contractor to salvage and reuse all ballfield topping to restore the existing field surface to its pre-construction conditions.
