Sustainable IT Management and Electronics Collection Events

The City of Ann Arbor is seeking a qualified IT-disposition firm to support its electronics collection program. The selected firm will be responsible for hosting six electronics collection events per year for two years, collecting and processing electronic materials, and providing reports on the environmental impact of the collected materials. The firm will also be required to maintain relevant e-steward certifications and have strong experience with similar projects. Some key tasks include: • Working with staff to identify eligible items for collection • Attending meetings to coordinate logistics • Collecting items from residents • Reporting to the City on the full range and quantity of materials collected • Providing recommendations for collection containers and locations • Managing electronic materials in line with the EPA's Waste Management Hierarchy The City is looking for a firm that can provide a high level of service, has strong technical capabilities, and can work collaboratively with City staff.
