27014PW- Wilmington WWTP Switchgear and Substation 1 & 2

The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to install, inspect, test, and commission new switchgear and substation equipment at the Wilmington Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work includes connecting the new equipment to the utility, reconnecting existing electrical loads, and demolishing the old equipment after successful proof‑of‑operation. The contract is funded through the Delaware Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund and must comply with prevailing‑wage, Buy‑America, and DBE “good‑faith effort” requirements. • Installation of Switchgear & Substation 1 & 2, including all associated wiring and protective devices. • Inspection, testing, and commissioning of the new electrical system, followed by utility connection. • Demolition and removal of existing equipment after verification of new system performance. • Compliance with AIS, BABA, Davis‑Bacon wage rules, and DBE participation mandates.
