Removal of All Mechanical Equipment on Barge (YR-96)

The U.S. Navy is issuing a pre-solicitation notice for the removal of all mechanical equipment on Barge (YR-96). The work will be performed at the contractor's facility, and the anticipated period of performance is from 25 September 2026 to 24 September 2027. The solicitation is intended only for sources authorized to operate and do business in Japan, and the offeror must possess a current and active USN Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) issued by the U.S. Navy or NAVSUP FLCY. • The contractor will be responsible for coordinating barge tug and pilot. • The contractor must have a current and active USN Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) issued by the U.S. Navy or NAVSUP FLCY. • The solicitation will be available electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) website. • All questions regarding this pre-solicitation notice should be submitted in writing to the point of contact listed above.
