Cryocooler and Heat Exchanger for LH2 Simulation Loop

The NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a Cryocooler and Heat Exchanger for LH2 Simulation Loop. The contract is intended to be awarded to Bluefors Cryocooler Technologies Inc, but interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact. The scope of work includes designing and constructing a cryocooler system, ensuring proper operation, and delivering the system to MSFC. The cryocooler shall have a specified heat removal of 100 watts or greater at 20K temperature, and the cold head shall have an integrated heat exchanger designed to cool helium gas. * The contract will be for a commercial item and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. * The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333415. * The period of performance is 9 months after award. * The place of performance is the vendor facility, with delivery to MSFC. * The system power shall be 480VAC, 3 phase, 60 Hz. * The water cooling requirement shall be equal to or less than 5 gallons per minute at 80 F.
