Description
The Prince George's County Department of Public Works and Transportation is seeking bids for tree planting and landscape maintenance at various locations within the county. The project involves planting trees, shrubs, and perennials, as well as maintaining existing landscapes. The contractor must have a Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (LTE) on staff and have at least five years of experience performing similar work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The project requires 30% County Located Business or Minority Business Enterprise participation and 50% County-Based Small Business participation.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor standards and wage rates.
• The contractor must provide performance and payment bonds.
• The contract term is for a minimum of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year terms.
