Description
The Gunflint Ranger District requires snow removal services for its administrative site, including parking lots, roadways, and drives to garages and employee housing units. The contractor will also be responsible for sanding paved parking lots and drives when ice is present. The contract will have a base year and four option years, with a total duration of 5 years and 6 months. The contractor must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must submit a technical proposal, price proposal, and contractor representations and certifications with their offer.
• The contractor must provide snow removal services after any snowfall over one inch at the Gunflint Ranger Station.
• The contractor must plow all paved roads, including the upper and lower parking lots and in front of all crew quarters, garage doors, and dumpster areas.
• The contractor must sand paved parking lots and drives when ice is present.
• The contractor must complete plowing by 6:00 am to avoid impacting employees showing up for work.
