RFQu for Electrical Design Design Services for streetlights for the Riverwalk Rehab Bike/Ped Scale Lighting Project (c402509)

The City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department is seeking qualified firms to provide electrical design services for the Riverwalk Rehab Bike/Ped Scale Lighting Project. The project involves the installation of decorative streetlights along the San Lorenzo Riverwalk. The selected firm will be responsible for designing and preparing electrical construction plans and specifications, including a schedule of values. The firm should have experience in electrical design work and be licensed in the State of California. • The project includes the installation of approximately 21 decorative streetlights along the San Lorenzo Riverwalk. • The lighting layout will be established based on City requirements and IES lighting levels. • The proposed decorative streetlights are pole-mounted LED fixtures at approximately 16-foot mounting height. • The electrical plans shall include designing means of power distribution and controls for the new lighting. • The design shall be suitable to meet California Title-24 requirements. • Construction is anticipated to start in spring 2027.
