Request for Information for Transportation of Bulk Potable Water Services

The United States Government (USG) is seeking information from potential sources for the transportation and delivery of bulk potable water. The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka (FLCY) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify interested sources capable of meeting the requirement. The services include transportation/delivery, disinfection, inspection, testing, and record keeping. The place of performance is within the United States Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) in Japan. • The USG is looking for companies that can provide tanker water trucks and/or water barges with a capacity in gallons. • The companies should be able to provide the services with a five-day notice. • The frequency and quantity of potable water for the service, and the period of performance are unknown at this time. • The companies should have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. • The companies should be authorized to operate and do business in Japan.
