COPS Professional Support Communications and Financial Management

The Department of Justice is seeking information from capable businesses to support the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) with professional financial management services and communications management. The contractor will provide support in areas such as financial reporting, budget formulation, and administrative execution, as well as communications management, including marketing and branding, internal and external communications, and data management. The contractor will also provide support for business process improvement and financial management. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing professional accounting support services for the COPS Office Finance business unit • Developing a comprehensive internal/external communications strategy for the COPS Office • Conducting market research and analysis to support the development of the COPS Office's communications plan • Providing support for the COPS Office's social media presence and management of external website content • Assisting with the preparation of budgetary and financial briefing documents, statistics, and materials for presentations • Supporting the COPS Office with change management and implementation of improvements The work will be performed at the Department of Justice COPS Office in Washington, D.C. and the contractor will be required to provide a minimum of seven consultants with at least four years of professional experience.
