Description
The opportunity involves the overhaul of five Carrier Model 30HXS-146R-6-KA Chill Water Units. The work includes inspection, cleaning, and overhaul of the units, as well as replacement of various parts and testing. The contractor must be a qualified Carrier 30HXS-146R-6-KA AC Service Representative and have a repair facility equipped to operationally test the Chill Water Units. The work must be performed in accordance with OEM specifications.
Some key tasks include:
• Conducting an as-found condition inspection and providing a Condition Found Report
• Disassembling and overhauling the condenser, evaporator, compressor valves, and controls
• Cleaning and coating the water heads and tube sheets
• Rebuilding the compressor and motor
• Replacing various parts, including condenser tubes, filters, and system driers
• Performing operational tests and providing certification to the MSCREP
