Description
This solicitation seeks a contractor to demolish the existing scale house and truck scale at the Salina Municipal Solid Waste Landfill, prepare the site, and construct a new scale house with associated utilities, two new truck scales, and full site improvements including pavement, curbs, sidewalks, and storm‑water controls. The work is to be performed on a firm unit‑price basis and must include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for demolition, earthwork, building construction, scale installation, and site finishing.
• Demolition of existing scale house and truck scale, with proper disposal.
• Complete earthwork, grading, and compaction to support new building foundations and pavement.
• Construction of a new scale house (structural, architectural, MEP) and installation of two inbound/outbound truck scales with foundations and utility connections.
• Installation of aggregate base, asphalt pavement, concrete pads, curbs, sidewalks, and drainage/storm‑water systems.
• Coordination of all required utility services and delivery of a fully functional weighing facility.
