REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City of Waynesboro is seeking an engineering firm or individual engineer to provide engineering and design services for its Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) application. The selected firm will be responsible for providing design and inspection services for local, state, and federally funded projects. The award of the engineering contract is contingent upon the grant being funded by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. The City reserves the right to request additional information, interview consultants, and waive informalities. • The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). • The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. • The project approach, timing, experience, quality of work, and capacity of performance will be evaluated. • Past performances on local government construction projects will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget, and quality of work.
