Description

The National Community Anti-Drug Coalition Institute (NCI) is a grant opportunity provided by the Office of National Drug Control Policy. The purpose of the NCI is to serve as the training and technical assistance partner for Drug-Free Communities (DFC) and non-DFC funded community coalitions across the country. The award will support the primary goals of the NCI, which are to increase the percentage of community coalitions that are effective in their work and strengthen technical assistance and training to community coalitions throughout the United States and territories. Key aspects of the opportunity include: • The award will support local, regional, and national implementation of the NCI Program. • Applicants are strongly encouraged to partner with other national faith-based or community organizations to effectuate the NCI Program. • The estimated funding for the award is $2,500,000. • The opportunity is open to national nonprofit organizations that represent, provide technical assistance and training to, and have special expertise and broad, national-level experience in community anti-drug coalitions.
