Description
The Richmond County School System is seeking a commercial real estate broker to assist with the marketing and sale or lease of selected RCSS-owned properties. The broker will be responsible for providing advice on building and property valuation, conducting strategic planning for property sale or lease, and handling all customary activities and services associated with real estate marketing and transactions. The contract will be for three years, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods. The broker must have experience in marketing, leasing, and selling commercial properties, and must be familiar with laws and practices applicable to government real estate matters.
• The broker will be responsible for actively marketing the disposition of the property and soliciting offers and quotes from all interested parties.
• The broker must comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• The broker will be restricted from serving as a buyer broker or transaction broker.
• The broker must agree to accept the agreed-upon sales commission/fee based on the highest responsive quote received.
• The broker must provide references for their company, including names and telephone numbers of contact persons for each reference.
