Notice of Intent - Thermo Electron North America LLC

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure a Q Exactive Mass Spectrometer Essential Academia Plan from Thermo Electron North America LLC on a sole-source basis. The requirement is for a one-year service plan, and the FBI believes that only Thermo Electron North America LLC can provide the necessary maintenance due to the proprietary nature of the instrument. The contract will include the provision of a certified service engineer from the manufacturer to perform annual service on the instrument.
