Description
The Metropolitan Council is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive event‑planning and execution services for the pre‑opening phase and launch celebration of the Green Line Extension light‑rail project in the Twin Cities. The contractor will develop concepts, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage logistics, produce promotional materials, and oversee on‑site event operations.
• Design and produce event concepts, branding, and marketing collateral for the launch.
• Coordinate logistics including venues, permits, staffing, security, and vendor management.
• Provide on‑site event management, troubleshooting, and post‑event reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison among the Council, transit agencies, community partners, and media.
• Deliver all services within the timeline leading up to the launch, with work expected to span roughly three months.
