Description
The City of Hogansville, Georgia is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide citywide sanitation services for residential and commercial customers. The services will include the collection, transportation, and proper disposal of solid waste for approximately 1,700 accounts, as well as service to approximately 20 back-door collection locations within the city limits. The selected vendor will be expected to maintain dependable service schedules, provide appropriate equipment and personnel, ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and serve as a positive community partner for the City and its residents.
• Weekly curbside household garbage collection
• Rear-load (“back door”) collection services
• Clam truck services for bulk waste and special collections
• Provision, delivery, maintenance, repair, and replacement of residential trash carts
• Transportation and lawful disposal of collected waste
The City values strong partnerships with service providers that actively support and engage with the local community, and the selected contractor is encouraged to demonstrate a commitment to community involvement and partnership with the City.
