Physical Therapist & Physical Therapy Assistant - Santa Fe Indian Health Center

The Indian Health Service is seeking a Physical Therapist and a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide services at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center and three Satellite Clinics in New Mexico. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The physical therapist will function as a staff physical therapist in a predominantly outpatient orthopedic setting, while the physical therapy assistant will assist in administering physical therapy treatments and tests. The contractor must have experience working with multicultural patients and be sensitive to the unique cultural factors of the people they treat. • Key responsibilities include: • Providing physical therapy evaluations and treatments • Assisting with patient care and administrative tasks • Maintaining patient records and providing reports • Participating in team discussions and training sessions • Adapting to and utilizing IHS information technology systems • Managing patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards • Performing other duties as assigned
