Drilling & Blasting for Oconee County Rock Quarry

Oconee County is seeking qualified contractors to perform comprehensive drilling and blasting operations at its county rock quarry. The contract requires the contractor to supply all necessary personnel, heavy equipment, explosives, materials, and supervision to safely and efficiently execute drilling and blasting in accordance with applicable regulations and the RFP specifications. This work supports the county’s ongoing quarry production and must be completed with strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. • Provide full-service drilling and blasting, including site preparation, borehole drilling, explosive loading, and blast execution. • Supply qualified crew, certified equipment, and all required materials (explosives, stemming, etc.). • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including proper handling of hazardous materials and site clean‑up. • Deliver detailed blast plans, supervision, and post‑blast analysis to optimize quarry output. • Coordinate with county staff for scheduling, reporting, and documentation throughout the contract period.
