Request for Proposals for Kane Street Sanitation Yard Renovation Construction Services

The Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority is seeking a qualified construction contractor to renovate the Kane Street Sanitation Yard located in Baltimore, MD. The renovation work includes removal and replacement of the garage floor, repairs to the facility's roof, office space demolition and construction, and warehouse upgrades. The scope of work shall be performed in accordance with the attached drawings and technical specifications prepared by the Authority's engineer, LaBella Associates. • The contractor will be responsible for providing its own equipment, labor, fuel, and any other materials necessary to complete the required work. • The contractor shall have a competent and experienced supervisor/foreman on duty at all times when work is being performed. • The contractor shall be responsible for any and all damage in connection with the work that is not caused by ordinary wear and tear. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable State and Local laws and ordinances related to the hauling and handling of debris. • The contractor shall provide its own water for equipment. • The contractor shall use equipment of sufficient type, capacity, and quantity to safely and efficiently perform the work as specified.
