Description
The Anchor Bay School District is seeking proposals for the replacement of existing boilers and hot water pumps with new high-efficiency sealed-combustion boilers and pumps. The project includes the installation of new boilers and pumps, as well as the removal and disposal of existing equipment. The contractor will be responsible for performing site investigations, obtaining necessary permits, and ensuring that the new equipment meets the existing performance characteristics. The project also includes the installation of variable frequency drives (VFDs) for the new hot water pumps.
• The project is expected to commence on May 21, 2026, and be completed by October 1, 2026.
• The contractor will be required to provide a 2.5% bid bond and payment and performance bonds.
• The project is tax-exempt.
• The contractor will be required to pay prevailing wages and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with the owner and other contractors to ensure a smooth project execution.
