Drug and Alcohol Testing Services in the ST. Thomas/St. John District

The Virgin Islands Port Authority (VIPA) is seeking the services of one or multiple firms to provide scheduled and random drug and alcohol testing to potential new hires and employees of VIPA on the islands of St. Thomas and St. John. The services are needed to promote a safe and secure environment for employees and passengers operating and traversing at VIPA's ports, facilities, and vehicles. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, supplies, and equipment required to provide the services on an on-call, as-needed basis, including after hours and weekends. The contract term will be for three years, with two one-year options for renewal. Key requirements include providing all necessary labor, supplies, and equipment, and having the necessary certifications and licenses. • The contractor must have a VI Business License with the necessary endorsements. • The contractor must have Certificate of General Liability Insurance with a minimum amount of $1,000,000.00. • The contractor must have Auto Liability Insurance with limits of $1,000,000.00. • The contractor must have Professional Liability Insurance. • The contractor must provide references and prior experience, preferably with other governmental agencies.
