TOWN OF TIVERTON, RI - STATISTICAL PROPERTY REVALUATION

The Town of Tiverton, Rhode Island, is seeking a contractor to perform a statistical revaluation of all real property in the town, effective December 31, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for valuing all real property, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties, and providing a complete reappraisal of all properties. The contractor must have experience with statistical revaluations and must comply with the requirements of the State of Rhode Island and the IAAO's Standard on Mass Appraisals. The project includes several phases, including preliminary land values and neighborhood delineations, preliminary building costs, preliminary valuations, full field review, and completion of the CAMA database. The contractor will be required to provide progress reports and meet with the Assessor regularly to discuss the project's progress. • The contractor must have at least 10 years of experience in statistical revaluations. • The contractor must have a current General Appraiser license issued by the State of Rhode Island or Massachusetts. • The contractor must comply with the requirements of the State of Rhode Island and the IAAO's Standard on Mass Appraisals. • The contractor must provide a complete reappraisal of all properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties. • The contractor must provide progress reports and meet with the Assessor regularly to discuss the project's progress.
