Upgrade Electrical Distribution

The work of this single bid project includes five primary work areas with the installation of new electric feeders and manholes. The scope ofwork also includes new electric switchgear and air-cooled transformers inside twenty (20) electric rooms in building locations, and decommissioning and removal of the old electric substation. Hazardous materials abatement is included in the work. Plans will be available after June 16, 2026, through Dataflow (607-772-2001 & www.nyplanroom.com ). A project walk-through has been scheduled for June 23, 2026 at 9:00A.M., at the Binghamton University Physical Facilities Building, Conference Room C.Please confirm the date/time with the Consultant. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
