Description
Scope of Work: This project consists of furnishing materials, labor, and equipment necessary for upgrading the existing electrical equipment within the West High Service Pump Station at the Alexander Orr, Jr. Water Treatment Plant. The upgrades include replacement of the existing high-service pumps and motors, installation of a standalone electrical building, and associated site, electrical, process, mechanical, and structural improvements. The purpose of these upgrades will be to provide renewed pump performance, greater electrical reliability to pump operations, and increase the level of automation of the facility. Estimated Value: $30,061,476.40 to $36,372,725.60, not including contingency and dedicated allowances. Project Duration: 730 Calendar Days to Substantial Completion, 790 Calendar Days to Final Completion, plus a 79 Calendar Day Contingency Period. NOTE: REQUESTS FOR INFORMTION (RFIs) WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED UP TO 5 PM ON OCTOBER 2, 2025. ANY RFI RECEIVED AFTER THIS DATE MAY BE REJECTED BY THE DEPARTMENT, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.
