South of Laurel Area Plan Lines Project

The City of Santa Cruz is seeking a consultant to provide engineering design services for the South of Laurel Area Plan Lines Project. The project involves creating a multi-modal plan line with cross-sections and a technical memo with recommendations for the South of Laurel area of Downtown Santa Cruz. The selected firm will be responsible for developing plan lines, recommendations, and a summary report that will guide the design for street improvement projects in the area. The project also includes two optional tasks for a grading and drainage plan and plan lines on Soquel Drive. The estimated budget for the project is $180,000. Some key responsibilities of the consultant include: • Street design (geometrics including cross sections) • Three-dimensional geometrics to connect existing streets to the Santa Cruz Riverwalk via the proposed Spruce Street Plaza • Project Management • Record Research • Topographic/Boundary Survey The ideal candidate will have experience working on similar projects and be able to provide a team with the necessary qualifications and expertise to complete the project.
