Description
The City of San Antonio seeks a qualified firm to provide state legislative representation services, effectively acting as a lobbyist to advance and protect the City’s interests within the Texas state government. The contractor will supplement the City’s internal advocacy efforts, monitor legislative activity, develop strategies, and communicate with state officials on behalf of the City.
• Perform lobbying and advocacy activities related to municipal interests at the Texas Capitol.
• Track, analyze, and report on relevant legislation, regulations, and policy developments.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to influence legislative outcomes favorable to the City.
• Provide regular briefing documents, meeting summaries, and recommendations to City officials.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable ethics and lobbying disclosure requirements.
