Description
The City of Cumming, Georgia is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the construction of the Cumming City Park Retaining Wall Improvements project. The project involves civil site work and drainage improvements associated with the replacement of an existing retaining wall. The scope includes demolition, grading, and drainage improvements associated with the replacement of approximately 350 LF of existing tie back walls with approximately 390 LF of a new Versalok wall system.
• The bid package must include a bid bond, executed by the bidder, and an acceptable surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and a labor and material payment bond.
• Bids will be evaluated based on the bidder's responses to the requirements of the RFP, with pricing accounting for 80% of the evaluation and bidder qualifications accounting for 20%.
• The owner reserves the right to select a responsive, responsible firm on the basis of best value that is most advantageous to the owner.
