SHAPE SAC and YC Construction

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District (NAU) is soliciting construction firms to construct a standard design combined School Age Center (SAC)/Youth Center (YC) with adjacent outdoor activity areas at SHAPE, in Mons, Belgium. The project includes the construction of facilities with various spaces, sustainability and energy enhancement measures, and supporting facilities such as site development, utilities, and landscaping. The anticipated period of performance is 15 months, and the estimated magnitude of construction is more than $10,000,000. • The project requires the construction of a SAC and YC with adjacent outdoor activity areas. • The facilities will include spaces for technology labs, multipurpose rooms, arts and science rooms, performing arts rooms, gyms, snack bars, culinary arts areas, storage, janitors' closets, laundry rooms, common gathering areas, activity rooms, bathrooms, administrative, and support spaces. • The project also includes the demolition of 1 building at Shape Headquarters, BE (9,199 Total SF). • The construction firm will be required to provide a Bank Letter of Guaranty for any single contract. • The firm must have the necessary documents, permits, and certifications required to perform work in Belgium.
