Intent to Sole Source: Midwave Multispectral Camera Lens

The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIBA, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, intends to award a sole source contract for the acquisition of a Midwave Multispectral Camera Lens for the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). The lens is required to have a focal length of 200mm, F-number 2.5, and a spectral range of 1.5-5 microns. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, and the proposed source is TELOPS Inc. The lens will be used to produce a known calibrated radiometrically accurate infrared light spectrum for remote sensing research. • The equipment must meet specific technical requirements, including a focal length of 200mm, F-number 2.5, and a spectral range of 1.5-5 microns. • The lens must be delivered with a protective case and calibration data. • The contractor must be responsible for transportation, loading, unloading, storage, and on-site coordination of deliveries. • The contract includes a warranty period of at least two years, with parts and labor, and return to factory freight costs included.
