RFP for Professional Services for the Defense of Involuntary Commitment Cases

The Natrona County Commissioners are seeking a Wyoming Licensed Attorney to defend patients in Involuntary Commitment hearings. The selected attorney will be required to have relevant experience, familiarity with the Wyoming File & Serve Xpress system, and the ability to access hearings via Zoom. The attorney must also maintain their own malpractice liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000.00. Key aspects of the job include: • Defending patients in Involuntary Commitment hearings under Wyo. Stat. Ann. 25-10-101 et seq. • Maintaining malpractice liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000.00 • Having relevant experience and familiarity with the Wyoming File & Serve Xpress system • Being able to access hearings via Zoom • Complying with timelines and court schedules, including attending court every weekday morning at 8:30 am unless otherwise ordered
