NASA’s Materials Science and Metallurgy Laboratory at Marshall Space Flight Center requires a Ge [220] monochromator upgrade for its Empyrean X‑Ray Diffraction (XRD) system to achieve higher‑resolution analytical data. The agency plans to award a sole‑source contract to Malvern Panalytical Inc. The vendor must supply, deliver, install, and calibrate one monochromator, ensuring full integration and performance verification.
