Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a service agreement for a Fluorescent Microscope System, specifically a Leica Brand DMi8 Inverted Fully automated Research Microscope. The system must be maintained to Leica factory standards and the contractor must provide a Premium Care Service Plan that includes unlimited service visits, replacement parts, and technical support. The contract period is for one year with options to extend for up to four additional years.
• The system is used for live cell imaging with fluorescence for Dapi, GFP CY3 and CY5.
• The system has a scanning stage, ultra-high-speed monochrome and color cameras, and LASX software bundle for XYZ multidimensional imaging.
• The system must be maintained by Leica professionals and require only Leica brand replacement parts if a repair is required.
• The contractor must provide detailed equipment maintenance reports to the customer.
• The contractor must provide technical support and software support.
