Biochar Pyrolysis Equipment

The City of Cincinnati Parks Department is seeking a turnkey biochar pyrolysis system to be installed at the Mt. Airy Forest site. The scope includes pre‑processing equipment (shredders, conveyors, storage), a continuous‑operation pyrolysis unit capable of processing 30‑45 cu yds (≈ 8 t) of wood chips per day, emissions controls, optional heat/electricity recovery, post‑process handling, full documentation, installation, commissioning, and training. The vendor must be a registered Cincinnati vendor, provide a 10 % bid bond, and may include Small Business/Minority‑Business participation but it is not mandatory. The contract must be fulfilled within one year of award.
