LPGP TRANSFORMER BAY DRAINAGE UPGRADE

THE NEW YORK POWER AUTHORITY (HEREAFTER, THE "AUTHORITY" OR "NYPA") INVITES YOU TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL TO FURNISH ALL SUPERVISION, LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT (EXCEPT FOR SERVICES, MATERIALS AND/OR EQUIPMENT TO BE FURNISHED BY OTHERS AS SPECIFICALLY REFERRED TO IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS) AND PERFORM ALL DESIGN OPERATIONS REQUIRED FOR DESIGN BUILD OF THE TRANSFORMER BAY DRAINAGE UPGRADE AT THE LEWISTON PUMP GENERATING PLANT (LPGP) LOCATED IN LEWISTON, NY. Design/Build project for the upgrade of the LPGP transformer bay drainage system. The contractor will perform a field investigation and feasibility study to determine if the existing drainage system can be modified to a gravity drain system and how the skid-mounted high efficiency filtration system (Mycelx) can be removed. The contractor will perform the detailed design for the gravity drain and the new drainage piping system, based on the preliminary design provided by NYPA. The contractor will provide and install the upgraded drainage system.
