Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory seeks a domestic supplier to provide a complete high‑power hollow‑core fiber assembly for second‑stage laser pulse compression at 1030 nm. The assembly must meet stringent optical, pressure, and mechanical specifications, include fiber holder kits, KF‑25 tubing, vacuum window mount, high‑power fiber, and height‑adjustment hardware, and be delivered within three months of order receipt. The award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method.
• Optical requirements: 1030 nm wavelength, 1.75 mJ pulse energy, 70 W average power, <10 fs output pulse duration.
• Mechanical/pressure requirements: nominal max pressure ≥2.5 bar, withstand ≥4 bar, footprint <0.2 m (short dimension) and fit within 4.5 m optical table length.
• Delivery & compliance: ship within 3 months, comply with Buy American Act, SAM registration, and SLAC terms and conditions.
