Huntington Bank Stadium Sound System Renovation

The University of Minnesota is seeking a contractor to provide design and construction services for the renovation of the sound system at Huntington Bank Stadium. The project includes replacing and renovating the existing sound system to meet the changing conditions for a Division 1 collegiate stadium's sound experience and public safety addressing. The selected respondent will be responsible for developing construction drawings, obtaining permits, and completing the work in accordance with the contract documents. The project has a total construction budget of $2,900,000 and must be substantially complete by August 14, 2026. • The project requires the contractor to comply with the University of Minnesota Building Standards and to pay prevailing wages. • The contractor must provide final testing of the system for permit signoff with the University of Minnesota Building Code Department. • The contractor must develop construction logistics plans to manage the safety of tenants, pedestrians, and vehicles, and to minimize shutdowns to the occupied building and events. • The contractor must identify all consultants and contractors, along with their associated roles. • The design services for the project will include a construction document phase and construction administration. • The contractor will be required to cover bonds at 100% of the value, including design and construction.
