The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking a qualified general‑building contractor to modify medication rooms and install new medication dispensing units at the Napa State Hospital. The work includes demolition, rough‑in of electrical, plumbing, and low‑voltage systems, fire‑stop and ligature‑risk mitigation, casework fabrication, anchoring plate installation (supplied by the dispensing‑unit vendor), and final unit installation by the vendor. The contract is a sealed‑bid IFB with a mandatory pre‑bid conference and site inspection, a 303‑day contract period, and liquidated‑damage provisions for delays.
