Description
The Montague Area Public Schools is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of digital copying/printing equipment. The contract will be for a period of 60 months, with the option to add new products throughout the agreement. The successful bidder will be required to provide a list of at least three references, and to clearly state any exceptions to the enclosed specifications. The equipment must meet certain minimum hardware specifications, including copy/print speed, paper supply, and document feeder capabilities. The bidder must also provide a cost per impression for full maintenance and supplies, as well as a purchase price for each machine.
• The equipment must be digital and include all new parts of standard first-grade quality.
• The equipment must produce readable, useful, plain paper prints/copies of typical originals.
• The equipment must have a device noise level that does not exceed the normal office background noise level.
• The equipment must support automated electronic meter readings.
• The equipment must meet or exceed the requirements of Underwriters Laboratory (U.L.).
