Description
The State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a qualified plumbing contractor to provide plumbing services to its locations in Princess Anne, MD Somerset County. The contract will be for a 3-year base period with no options periods and will cover work at the Princess Anne Maintenance Shop and the Princess Anne Visitor Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, miscellaneous parts, normal plumbing related equipment, normal plumbing tools, transportation, and communication for worked performed under the contract. The contractor will also be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, contacting and obtaining utility markings, and maintaining a stocked service truck with materials, tools, ladders, and equipment.
• The contractor must have 3 years of experience providing commercial plumbing services on an ongoing basis.
• The contractor must have its own employee labor, equipment, and vehicles to complete the project.
• The contractor must be SDAT registered to conduct business in the State of Maryland.
• The contractor must have at least one plumber on staff with the State of Maryland Master Plumbing Licensing required.
• The contractor must provide a trip charge/service charge for responding to the locations indicated.
• The contractor must bid a trip charge/service charge for responding to the locations indicated.
• The contractor must provide qualified plumbers to perform various duties as directed by the SHA authorized representative.
• The contractor must provide "not to exceed" estimates on all work (verbal for work under $500.00, written for $500.00 and above).
