RFP Street Lighting Maintenance

The City of Syracuse is seeking proposals from electrical companies to provide street lighting maintenance services. The city owns and maintains approximately 17,500 streetlights, and the selected contractor will be responsible for performing all necessary electrical work, addressing outages and damage, and providing expertise for additions to the Street Lighting Network. The contract will be for a period of 3 years with a possible 1-year renewal option. The city is looking for a contractor with qualified licensed master electricians and linemen who can provide the necessary services. The proposal should include information on the company's experience, qualifications, and approach to the project, as well as a fee proposal and task man-hour breakdown. Some key aspects of the scope of work include: • Pole repairs/replacement/installation • Electrical repairs • Underground facilities repair • Underground facilities relocation/installation • Overhead facilities repair/installation The city will provide some materials, but the contractor will be responsible for supplying all other necessary materials.
