Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a contractor to provide electrical installation services for a Remote Surveillance System – Maritime (RSS-M) at the Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Michigan. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, materials, transportation, inspections, and other incidentals required to install the electrical infrastructure needed for the RSS-M. The installation is temporary, and all infrastructure will be removed as requirements change and a new location is identified. The contractor must follow all rules and regulations required by the county, Selfridge Air National Guard Base, and the state of Michigan. Key aspects of the job include:
* Installing a fused disconnect switch attached to a transformer
* Installing infrastructure required to support the deployment of the RSS-M
* Scheduling inspections required by Selfridge Air National Guard Base
* Providing a refreshed bid in accordance with the amendment to the solicitation
* Attending an optional pre-bid site visit
The FAA has extended the offer due date to January 23, 2026, and has incorporated several clauses into the solicitation, including those related to electronic submission of payment requests, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, and prohibition on contracting for certain telecommunications and video surveillance services or equipment.
