Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, is seeking a contractor to repair a Mobile Vet Center van. The van, a 2024 Winnebago Model WKJ33S, requires collision repair, including replacement of damaged parts, painting, and labor. The contractor must provide all necessary materials, equipment, and services to return the vehicle to its pre-collision condition. The vehicle is currently located in Traverse City, MI, and the contractor must include towing costs in their quote. The contractor will have 3 weeks to complete the repairs after the contract award date.
* The contractor must replace or repair all damaged parts to industry standards.
* The contractor must use OEM or aftermarket parts that are equal to or exceed the quality of manufactured parts.
* The contractor must apply paint using a two-stage process in accordance with general commercial practice.
* The contractor must provide a report with a detailed list of repairs, parts, and labor with costs.
* The contractor must notify the Contracting Officer for prior approval before beginning any additional repairs outside of what is listed in the statement of work.
