Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a broad range of heavy‑equipment rentals with operators for Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 8 projects. The contract is an indefinite‑delivery/indefinite‑quantity (ID/IQ) agreement covering multiple line items such as excavators (standard and long‑reach), hydraulic hammers, tree‑mulching attachments, dump trucks, articulated trucks, skid‑steer loaders, road wideners, vibratory rollers, milling machines, wheel loaders, flaggers, various attachments, and a 55‑ton hydraulic crane. Each piece of equipment will be rented on an hourly basis and must be supplied in excellent working condition with a qualified operator (except light plants). The vendor must be registered in the Kentucky e‑Procurement system and submit an online bid by the closing date. Minimum guaranteed hours per work order are eight (8) hours, but actual usage will dictate payment.
• 31 distinct equipment/attachment line items, each billed per hour (total estimated usage ~1,900 hrs).
• Required operator for all equipment (except light plants).
• Rental rates paid only for actual use; minimum 8 hrs per work order.
• Online bid submission only via Kentucky Vendor Self‑Service portal.
• Vendor must provide manufacturer/model information, certifications (DBE, Buy‑America, etc.), and affidavits.
• Contract type: ID/IQ – “best value” award based primarily on lowest price.
