Intent to Award Sole Source (IASS) Eaton UPS Maintenance

The United States Air Force is seeking to award a sole source contract for maintenance support of existing Eaton 9390 Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) equipment. The contract will provide 1 year of maintenance support, and Eaton is the sole source provider for this proprietary hardware and service support. The maintenance support is critical to the computing infrastructure architecture to maintain usability in the event of a power anomaly. • The contract type is a new, firm-fixed priced order. • The Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (AFRL / RXOC) currently has a requirement for maintenance support for existing Eaton 9390 UPS equipment. • Eaton is the only authorized provider of service support with Eaton's developed proprietary service software for 3-phase UPS products.
