Description
The State of Maine Judicial Branch is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial and custodial services for the Calais Courthouse, a Class A office building of approximately 6,400 sq ft. The contract covers daily after‑hours cleaning, periodic deep‑clean tasks, and all associated equipment, supplies, and supervision over a five‑year period with two possible renewal options. Vendors must be Current Certified Work Centers and demonstrate the ability to staff two cleaners each evening, manage a detailed cleaning schedule, and meet strict performance and safety standards.
• Daily cleaning (Mon‑Fri, 5 pm‑7 pm) with two staff members plus 10 hours of periodic cleaning each month.
• All equipment, chemicals, and supplies provided by the vendor; must maintain OSHA‑approved, non‑hazardous products and on‑site MSDS.
• Contract term: Dec 1 2026 – Nov 30 2031 (five years) with renewal options; performance monitored through daily and monthly inspections.
